Irish Eyes A Smilin' - 6 Months Old

Happy Saint Patrick's Day! My little Irishman is 6-months old today. He is busy as ever. He has definitely learned how nice an opposable thumb really is. He grabs anything and everything. This week alone while holding him, he has pulled out a clump of my hair, pulled down my shirt in front of the neighbors, and pulled my dinner plate to the floor. I need to hone my reflects, because Michael Perry is much too quick for me.

Beyond Michael's milestone of the half year mark, all else is good. The girls are gearing up for Easter. They have been staging practice Easter egg hunts around the house, so that their hunting skills are top notch when it really counts.

Recently, I have been a Cisco widow. Scott has been working non-stop. He was on the road 3 of the last 5 weeks, and now that he is home he is playing catch up for all the work that piled up while he was traveling for work. We are all hoping that it slows down a bit, but until then, I'm enjoying not cooking. The girls and I are quite happy with cereal for dinner. Speaking of which I better go get the milk and bowls ready - it's dinner time.

That is life in the stroller lane. Lots of Love.

I know what you mean, it's almost easier when Adam is traveling b/c dinner is a much more casual affair. And it's not like Adam has ever said "I want a home cooked, gourmet dinner every night" but I still feel the need to cook "real" dinners when he is in town. When he's out of town we do lots of bean burritos, eggos, chicken nuggets .... cereal is a great idea, I'll have to serve that up next time he's gone!! :)
