The carpool line is long, the 25mpg school zone is flashing, and school is officially back in session. One, two, three, we were all back to school.
I returned for my senior year at Chapel Hill on Tuesday. Yes, I'm a senior again - it's all about keg parties and football season (or not).
Sarah started 2nd grade yesterday. She is a officially a big kid with her classroom on the 2nd floor. The day went smooth, but the ride home was little tough. The bus was almost an hour late and dropped the kids at the wrong bus stop. Luckily, the kids all found their way home.
And Jaley...Jaley who I swear was born only days ago, started kindergarten today. There were no tears shed, but I wasn't far off. She, however, skipped right into her classroom, grabbed some crayons and never looked back.
With school in session, we are getting back to the routine or at least pretending to get back to the routine. That is life in the stroller lane.
