Forecast: Sunny, Sixty, and Snowing

To all of you that thought it had to be cold to snow - come on down to Cary. Once a year they bring in snow to a local park (with great hills) for an afternoon of sledding. Last year, I took the girls and it was actually (and ironically) snowing. This year, it was sixty and sunny. I must say I like traditional sledding, but this warm weather variety is divine.

As expected, the kids had a blast. Mick was leading the charge, with no fear or trepidation. He must have been the youngest kid on the slope. Jaley and Sarah were fulfilling X-games dreams, catching air on the bigger hill. Scott and I exhausted ourselves running point, trying to ensure everyone made a safe landing at the bottom of the hill.

It was a taste of fun in the middle of a very busy time. I am t-minus 8 days until the end of the semester. There is a mountain of final exams, simulations, and final clinical assignments, BUT at the end is a well-deserved four-week break.

That is life in the stroller lane.
